Paige Giguere, MSN, RN, PNP-PC
DURHAM CITY LEAD
Paige was born and raised in Winston-Salem and stayed for college to attend Wake Forest University, where she studied Psychology and Biology. During her time at Wake Forest, she worked at Wake Forest Baptist Brenner Children’s Hospital on the pediatric oncology floor, where she fell in love with nursing and caring for children with cancer. After college, Paige moved to Washington, D.C. to attend Georgetown University’s accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. While living in D.C., she met her husband, Mark, who was working in healthcare consulting and earning his MPH at George Washington University.
Mark, a Duke grad, encouraged Paige to apply for nursing jobs at Duke Children’s Hospital, which brought them to Durham in 2016. For five years, Paige worked as a bedside RN on Duke’s Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit. After completing her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree at Duke in 2020, she transitioned to an outpatient NP role within the pediatric transplant program at Duke.
Paige and Mark welcomed their first child, Graham, in 2020 while she was in graduate school and just before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. They welcomed their second child, Josie, in July 2022. Paige’s second postpartum experience was complicated by postpartum anxiety, and despite being well-connected to the medical community in Durham, she was surprised by how difficult it was to find support during that time. Through self-advocacy, she found strength and developed a deep passion for supporting mothers after birth and beyond.
Although she continues to work full-time as an NP, Paige has made it a priority to be a resource for any mother struggling in the postpartum period. She is excited that Mom League provides a tangible way to support mothers in her community. Her background in pediatrics also allows her to help new moms navigate the challenges of early parenthood, providing guidance and reassurance as they care for their babies.

Kelly Tucci, MEd. LCMHCA
NEWBORN SERIES INSTRUCTOR
Kelly grew up in the Winston-Salem area until moving to Greenville, NC to attend East Carolina University, where she received a degree in Exercise Physiology, followed by a Master's in Recreation Therapy Administration (LRT/CTRS). During her time working as a LRT/CTRS, Kelly worked in a variety of settings with varying diagnoses, including over eight years working in a community setting with kids and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It was during this time that her passion for mental health was ignited, and in May of 2020, she decided to pursue a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at NC State University.
Kelly met her husband, Stephen, in 2013 while attending ECU, and after moving to the Raleigh area in 2015, they started to lay the foundations of a life together and a future family. While attending NC State and working full-time, she and her husband began planning for a family. After navigating a challenging journey to parenthood, including a pregnancy loss, they welcomed their son, Easton, in July of 2022. Kelly’s personal experience with postpartum anxiety, alongside the stories of close friends, deepened her commitment to advocating for maternal mental health and addressing the gaps in postpartum care and support.
Today, Kelly works as an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness, specializing in perinatal mental health. She works collaboratively with women to help them cultivate a grounded, present, and empowered life. It is her life’s work to support women and moms in navigating the layered, ever-changing, and deeply transformative experience of motherhood. She believes in the power of community—especially in motherhood—and is passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where women can connect and thrive. She is excited about the opportunities the Mom League Durham will provide to foster meaningful relationships and lasting support for mothers in the community!
