  • Dr. Caroline Brown

    Pediatrician

    Dr. Brown is a proud Wake Forest University graduate and then attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine where she specialized in pediatrics. She has practiced general pediatrics in North Carolina for the past 15 years and is the mother of 3 young children. She is passionate about using social media to provide evidence-based guidance to parents on raising healthy and happy kids. She can be found on Facebook and Instagram @DrCarolineBrown.

  • Keri Smith Gaylord, LCSW

    Therapist, Owner at Keri Smith Gaylord Counseling

    Keri is a clinical social worker, but may also (just as accurately!) be called a therapist, doula of complicated feelings, professional question-asker or parenting book translator. She has lots of experience helping people find relief from anxiety and shame-related challenges and extensive training in trauma-sensitive, parenting and perinatal mental health work.

    “I am delighted to join the Mom League board because being a parent of impossibly small children is incredibly difficult and doing it alone just doesn't work. The community, support and education offered by Mom League are integral to feeling like a whole person and living a life congruent with your values and character.

  • Bethany Godwin, LCMHC PMH-C

    Owner of Twilight Counseling &
    Co-founder of Postpartum Resource Center of the Triad

    Bethany is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, certified in perinatal mental health, with over a decade of experience. In her private practice Twilight Counseling, she focuses on supporting mothers and fathers on their reproductive journey, as well as grief. She is also a co-founder of Postpartum Resource Center of the Triad, she’s very passionate about increasing awareness of the mental health challenges during the perinatal period and enjoys connecting our community to the resources available. As a mother of two young children, she has personal experience with postpartum depression as a first time mom, and understands how support can make a difference with the adjustments of motherhood.

  • Natalie Spencer Gwyn (PhD, LCMHC)

    Owner at Gwyn Counseling and Consulting

    Currently, she is ma Core Faculty member at Walden University in the School of Counseling. Before moving into higher education, she worked as a high school counselor and student assistance counselor (SAP) for many years. She received my undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She later earned a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from North Carolina State University. She is also the author of Mindful Practices for Helping Troubled Teens and the co-author of 15-Minute Focus: Diversity, Bias, and Privilege: Addressing Racial Inequities to Create Inclusive Learning Environments. In addition, she is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina, and she owns a small private practice, Gwyn Counseling and Consulting.

    “I am excited to join the Advisory Board and support Mom League and the Triad Community. I am married to my husband Tim and we have three children - Timothy Jr. or TJ, (3) and twins Joshua and Faith (1) .”

  • Dr. Kate Lambert

    Dentist at Spangler, Lambert & Lipp Pediatric Dentistry

    Dr. Kate graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She then attended the University of Florida-Shands Hospital for her residency and Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.

    Dr. Kate won the Triad Mom's on Main 2021 Choice Award for Favorite Pediatric Dentist!

    She is board certified by and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

  • Alicia Lilly (BSN, RN, IBCLC)

    Registered Nurse and Lactation Consultant, Founder of Think Like A Mom

    Alicia is Registered Nurse and Lactation Consultant with experience in NICU, lactation and postpartum care. Creator and Founder of Think Like A Mom which is a stationery and apparel brand whose mission is to inspire and encourage a community of moms that can thrive in this motherhood journey with confidence.

  • Dr. Christina Saldanha (PA)

    Owner of Camel City Womens Wellness

    Christina is a women's health PA providing medical services for women across the lifespan with particular interest in postpartum mental health, sexuality and the menopause transition. She loves talking about all the things their health care provider doesn't have time or expertise to discuss with them!

  • Laura Shelton

    Perinatal Health Nurse Educator, Novant Health

    Laura is a nurse and mom of two who loves all things Women’s Heath, particularly Labor and Delivery ,and Postpartum. She found that sharing her personal struggles with postpartum anxiety and depression to be helpful for others.

  • Dr. Katie Taylor (PT, DPT, CLT, OCS)

    Owner of Taylor Physical Therapy and Wellness

    Katie is a Winston-Salem native and upon moving back home in 2020 found there was a need for holistic women's health! After having children and experiencing her own pelvic floor issues she knew the importance of physical postpartum recovery and finding the right provider to help. Her practice is passionate about helping women prepare for birth, recover after delivery, and ultimately have strong minds and bodies to be the best moms they can be!
